Speaking at Science Unlimited 2019, Daniel Petrariu talked about how the Frontiers Open Science platform enables its award-winning, rigorous peer review process while providing maximum data insights, and how AIRA (our Artificial Intelligence Review Assistant) supports editors and staff in making the best decisions throughout the process.

Daniel is responsible for the Frontiers Open Science Platform. This includes the development and launch of innovative new digital tools and services for researchers as well as operational tools that enable Frontiers staff. He joined Frontiers’ Product Management team in 2013, which he has led since 2015. In 2019 he became Product Management Director overseeing the Publishing Platform, Data Products, Data Science and Design teams.
