Frontiers Forum & Science Unlimited 2018

The 4th annual Frontiers Forum was a unique opportunity for the Frontiers community, as well as representatives from industry and policy, to come together around breakthrough research developments and Open Science strategies.

The event featured inspirational speakers showcasing the cutting-edge science of tomorrow. Topics focused on big missions for humanity – including preventing and curing disease, empowering people through machines and Artificial Intelligence, and new technologies for food production.

Celebrating 10 years of Frontiers

One decade ago, Frontiers set out to pursue its vision for Open Science. By any measure our mission has succeeded, uniting researchers and institutions into the world’s largest open-science community.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, the 2018 Forum also looked back at this mission. Representatives from the academic community, industry and policy reflected on the achievements of our Open Science movement, celebrated and recognized the contribution of the Frontiers community in this revolution, and discussed how we can ensure that the future of science is Open Science.

We were pleased to host the event at the W Hotel, voted the world’s best ski hotel in the famous Swiss mountain resort, Verbier.
